It s a program found in the Start menu by going to Programs, then Accessories,
and then System Tools. As you save files on your computer, the system stores
the files in available places on your hard disk. After a while, though, with
many files broken into many fragments on the hard disk, you may notice the
computer is not performing as quickly because it needs to search for and
find all those file fragments.
By running Disk Defragmenter at least once a month, you can speed things up because the Disk Defragmenter gathers all of the files parts into one place on the disk so the computer doesn t have to spend so much time looking for them in multiple places.
